Initially founded in 1998, Arenco commenced operations as a contractor operating in the building and civil contracting sectors of the construction industry. In late 2004 Arenco became a member of the Daracon Group. Management and personnel remained unchanged and the company continued to trade successfully in similar sectors of the market.

Arenco employs more than 60 office and site personnel, and being a fully owned subsidiary of the Daracon Group, is able to offer services in terms of project scope and size that have the underpinning financial strength of Daracon.

Our team encompasses a diverse range of skills in the fields of civil engineering, building construction, design management, project management, quality control, occupational health and safety and environmental management.

Arenco (NSW) Pty Limited is an organisation committed to producing quality products, including the requirement for system assurance, for all phases of its projects.

Arenco is committed to implementing and maintaining Quality Systems in conjunction with other management systems, which meet or exceed all legal, stakeholder and client requirements.

The Quality objectives of Arenco are to:

  • Maintain compliance with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2015
  • Deliver customer, statutory and regulatory outcomes
  • Instil an open reporting culture within all levels of its workforce to promote the importance of quality and quality assurance
  • Routinely verify the effectiveness of the quality system through audit processes
  • Provide suitably qualified and experienced personnel to ensure ongoing maintenance, and improvement of the quality system
  • Ensure that employees and service providers are fully aware of their quality obligations
  • Maintain an inspection and testing system that demonstrates the achievement of quality outcomes

WHS & Rail Policy

Arenco (NSW) Pty Limited is an organisation committed to providing a safe working environment for all of its employees, service providers, visitors and, where relevant, members of the public.

Arenco is committed to implementing and maintaining Work, Health, Safety and Rail Systems in conjunction with other management systems, which meet or exceed all legal, stakeholder and client requirements.

The Work, Health, Safety and Rail objectives of Arenco are to:

  • Maintain compliance with ISO 45001:2018, AS/NZS 4801:2001, WHS Act 2011, Rail Safety National Law Act 2012 and Regulations
  • Maintain accreditation with the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner
  • Maintain accreditation with the Office of the National Rail Safety Regulator
  • Instil an open reporting culture within all levels of its workforce to promote the creation and maintenance of a high level safety environment
  • Routinely verify the effectiveness of the work, health and safety system through review and audit processes
  • Provide suitably qualified and experienced personnel to ensure ongoing maintenance, and improvement, of the work, health and safety system
  • Ensure that employees and service providers are fully aware of their work, health, safety and rehabilitation obligations
  • Maintain an inspection and testing system that demonstrates the achievement of work, health and safety outcomes
  • Promote a culture that is innovative and takes pride in its work, health and safety achievements

Environmental & Sustainability Policy

Arenco (NSW) Pty Limited is an organisation committed to acting in a socially, economically and environmentally responsible manner to minimise adverse environmental and sustainability impacts of its operations.

Furthermore Arenco strives to go beyond mitigating negative impacts to promoting positive feasible improvements such as restorative actions, improving liveability, enhancing ecology and supporting economic development.

Arenco is committed to implementing and maintaining Environmental and Sustainability Systems in conjunction with other management systems, which meet or exceed all legal, stakeholder and client requirements.

This will be achieved through decision making, engagement and consultation with stakeholders including community, pollution prevention, minimisation of waste, procurement, the promotion of sustainability initiatives and system assurance for the life cycle of its projects.

The key Environmental and Sustainability strategies of Arenco are to:

  • Set objectives and targets to improve management and performance
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 14001, relevant legislation, regulations  and approvals which can be demonstrated through routine inspection and auditing regime
  • Instil an open reporting and communication culture within all levels of the workforce to promote environmental aspects, sustainability and other social responsibilities and obligations
  • Provide suitably qualified and experienced personnel to ensure ongoing maintenance, and improvement, of the environmental and sustainability systems
  • Promote a culture that is considerate of innovative opportunities, heritage awareness, urban design and built environment
  • Promote the consideration of sustainability in the procurement process including identification, evaluation and monitoring of service providers
  • Foster a culture that encourages and values stakeholder and community engagement, feedback, support and satisfaction
